Decorative print about the Venetian Fleet. We suppose it's related to one of Morean Wars against the Ottoman Empire. The "Franciscus Venetea" maybe be derived from Francesco Morosini (1619-94) who was a commander of the Venetian fleet during the 7th Ottoman-Venetian war(1684-1699) .
Condition - signs of old folds that suggest that print could be a book illustration.
Original copperplate engraving, probably from early XVIIIth century) , framed. Size within the passe-partout: 27,5 x 32cm.
Condition: paper yellowish, little stained, fold on the right side. Decorative border somtimes brighter (maybe due to restoration, or some smaller damage) . Not tested without the frame.
